A Massachusetts man was arrested by undercover police officers in the Wendy’s parking lot on Candia Road during a drug buy on June 26.
David Simonds, 52, of Haverhill, Mass., is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute, a felony.
The “controlled buy” was executed by Manchester Police Department’s Special Enforcement Division with the help of a confidential informant.
Simonds consented to a search of his vehicle and as officers completed the search they seized two pounds of marijuana and more than $6,000 in cash. The marijuana has a street value of $5,000, police said.
