MANCHESTER, NH Jason Philbrick of Manchester, has been sentenced to 20 – 60 years in the New  Hampshire State Prison after pleading guilty to 8 counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault against two minors. The sentence was handed down by the Honorable N. William Delker in the  Hillsborough County Superior Court – Northern District.

As part of the plea agreement, Philbrick pleaded guilty to two counts of Second Degree Assault  against each of the victims’ children as well, for which he received a suspended State Prison  sentence.

This case highlights the importance of the extended statute of limitations for sexual offenses  committed against minors. In the State of New Hampshire, a survivor of child sexual abuse has  until he or she turns 40 years old to report the offense to law enforcement.

The victims reported that the assaults began approximately 29 years ago when they were 11 and  12 years old, respectively. Philbrick abused each of them for a period of years. The County  Attorney’s Office is grateful for the bravery shown by these victims in coming forward to hold  Mr. Philbrick accountable for his conduct.

The investigation was led by Detective Canada Castricone of the Manchester Police Department,  prosecuted by Assistant County Attorneys Laura Del Camp and Zachary Charland, with support  from Victim Witness Advocate Merrill Beauchamp, alongside support from paralegal Brittney  Weiner.
