MANCHESTER, NH — As an intern for Manchester Ink Link, a big baseball fan, and a fairly big Star Wars fan, I am already pumped like you wouldn’t believe for one night in particular: Star Wars Night.
On June 25 The New Hampshire Fisher Cats will wear Darth Vader jerseys and there are scheduled appearances by characters from the movie, and lots of Star Wars fun.
I’ve already talked to several fans of the Fisher Cats who are saying “it’s already marked on my calendar.”
One fan of the game gave me a fist bump when I told them there would be Darth Vader-inspired jerseys. They couldn’t believe me, and thought, “no way!” Well, yes way! Your dreams have just come true, Star Wars baseball fans.
As for me, you bet I’ll try to sport one of these bad boys and I hope to god they are selling them, because who wouldn’t want one?!
Unless, of course, you’re not on the dark side and are a Jedi. Nonetheless, let this night bring some bring some light, and brightness into this dark side experience. And may the force will be with the Fisher Cats!
