MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating a traffic accident that claimed the life of a motorcyclist Wednesday night near the Mobil on the Run on Brown Avenue.
First responders from American Medical Response and Manchester Fire Department arrived at about 7:30 p.m. to find two vehicles involved, a 2000 Honda Accord and a 2002 Honda CBR motorcycle.
A preliminary investigation indicates the Honda Accord, operated by a 22-year-old Hooksett man, was turning east into the parking lot of Mobil on the Run, 2391 Brown Ave. when it collided with the motorcycle, operated by a 21-year-old Manchester man, who was traveling north on Brown Avenue.
The occupants in the Honda were uninjured, however the motorcycle operator suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of all persons involved are being withheld pending the investigation.
The crash remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team. Anyone with information regarding this crash is urged to contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
