
MANCHESTER, NH โ A command center has been established at the First Baptist Church, 536 Union St., to support residents displaced by the Jan. 1 apartment fire. The community is working diligently to ensure all affected families receive the help they need.
For Displaced Families
To date, 17 cases have been identified which is bringing assistance to 36 individuals. At this point there are 15 people who have not reached out.
All registered families are currently receiving:
- Financial support
- Daily meals
- Placement assistance (multiple agencies are currently securing permanent housing).

- When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Where: First Baptist Church, 536 Union Street (one block south of the fire).
- Entrance: Please use the side entrance on Concord Street.

Participating Agencies:
This relief effort is a collaboration between the Mayorโs Office, Manchester Fire, Manchester Housing, Manchester Welfare, the American Red Cross of Northern New England, Choice Realty, and the First Baptist Church.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON DONATIONS:
Current Status: Organizers request that you DO NOT bring donations to the church at this time.
Update coming Monday: Specific instructions on how to donate funds, clothing, household items, and non-perishable food will be released this Monday.
