MANCHESTER, NH โย General George S. Patton once said, “It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.โย
That said, the city’s annual Memorial Day Parade is a time for the community to gather and remember in their own way the many men and women who have served and sacrificed their lives as an act of love and duty to our country.

Monday’s parade stepped off following a rainy morning under bright sunshine and warmth, generated not only by the sun but by the feeling that we are all able to come together as citizens under one flag.
The following galleries, contributed by Jeffrey Hastings and Lisa Fleming Brock, capture the moment perfectly.
