MANCHESTER, NH – With Opening Day for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ 2026 season set for Friday, April 3, at Delta Dental Stadium against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the team’s front office is eager for fans to experience the slew of the organization’s upgrades and promotions.
“We are trying to show the fans that things are going to be different and better now,” said General Manager Taylor Fisher.
Along with a $200,000 investment to overhaul the stadium’s hospitality and concessions operations, the team’s ownership group, Diamond Baseball Holdings, fully paid for a new $400,000 LG LED video board in left field, which was installed by ANC. The 4-foot-8-inch by 140-foot board will include video graphics for fans to view during games.

“This new board also gives us a renewed reliability of a space for us to digitally display our partners’ logos,” said Media Relations Manager and broadcaster Chris Jared.
The previous video board was installed in 2011, and according to Fisher, it was “well past its useful life.”
“We were happy to upgrade. It is a huge investment,” Fisher said.
Additionally, the Fisher Cats invested $110,000 into IT infrastructure upgrades throughout Delta Dental Stadium. In partnership with Marquis Management LLC and Fidium Fiber, the upgrades will include faster Wifi connections and a quicker internet for fans while at the ballpark.
“The IT infrastructure was really old, and it didn’t allow us to operate at peak efficiency,” said Fisher.
The Fisher Cats have also partnered with Scandinavian Building Services, who will now be responsible for cleaning the facilities before, during, and after each home game.
Based in Canada, Scandinavian Building Services specializes in cleaning professional sports stadiums. The company will take over all cleaning responsibilities throughout the ballpark, including the seating bowl, the concourse, the suites and the clubhouses.
“I felt we needed to make a change with our cleaning partner, and my expectation moving forward is that the stadium will be much cleaner and better maintained,” Fisher said.
The Fisher Cats will also include more of the team’s alternate identities during the 2026 season.
Every Tuesday game at Delta Dental Stadium will now be a “Tender Tuesday” where the team will appear as the Manchester Chicken Tenders.
To celebrate the City of Manchester’s claim to be the original inventor of the chicken tender—something that has been contested—the Fisher Cats will also unveil the Manchester Coconut Tenders on July 26 and Aug. 26, while bringing back the Buffalo Tenders on July 12 and Sept. 10, respectively.

But what about the New Hampshire Space Potatoes, the alternate identity that the team premiered last season?
Fear not, earthlings. The Space Potatoes will take the field six times during the 2026 season: April 18, May 16, June 26, July 24, Aug. 9 and Sept. 12.
The Fisher Cats are also adding Heritage Nights and County Days to the promotional schedule.
The Heritage Nights will honor fans of seven different heritages throughout the season, including Irish Heritage Night (April 17), Asian and Pacific Island Heritage Night (May 15), Greek Heritage Night (May 22), Franco-American Heritage Night (June 5), Italian Heritage Night (July 10), Jewish Heritage Night (Aug. 4) and Latin and Hispanic Heritage Night (Aug. 28).
The Heritage Nights will include food and events that honor each culture, including pregame ethnic music on the Smuttynose Stage, food and beverage promotions, on-field performances and more.
On County Days, which will be held during Sunday matinees, the team will recognize fans from each of New Hampshire’s 10 counties: Hillsborough (April 19), Strafford (May 17), Rockingham (June 7), Merrimack (June 28), Coos/Carroll/Belknap (July 12) and Grafton/Sullivan/Cheshire (Aug. 9).
“We’re looking to become an entertainment venue that happens to have a baseball team that plays here,” Fisher said. “We’re trying really hard to make sweeping changes across the board so that fans understand that it is really different now.”
