THE SOAPBOX

Stand up. Speak up. It’s your turn.
The Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) takes up to 10% of all CSF taxpayer funds off the top of Education Freedom Account voucher moneys. Last year, NH paid $ 2.3 million of the national CSF’s $5.2 million for running their organization.
Executives in CSF’s Manhattan offices:
โข lobby for pro-voucher policies
โข market CSF programs to other states
โข fundraise for vouchers in other states
The image with this post shows CSF’s more than $1 million in executive compensation for the national office. Only $167,000 goes to the NH director.

The CSF is also responsible for distributing NH taxpayer funds to parents. Parents who have a residence in New Hampshire may fill out a form. They must verify payment for summer camp, a computer, travel expenses, tuition to Catholic School or other expenditures for their child. The CSF is supposed to verify that expenditures are acceptable.
Verification of thousands of forms can be handled by AIs. (See technical description of how to securely process such forms with AI.) Once the process is set up, verification requires very little staff time. Yet CSF can charge up to 10% of each increase in voucher funding.
This year, funding for the EFA program will more than double. The Children’s Scholarship Fund will receive millions of that funding for administering the program.
