Description of Incident: At approximately 1:13 p.m. on Saturday, a call came in for a car fire inside an industrial garage space on East Industrial Drive. Engine 8 arrived first to find a fully involved truck inside the garage. The door to the affected unit was opened when crews arrived; advancing a hose line, they began to knock back the fire.
The fire produced large volumes of toxic black smoke, which was able to spread through the structure through void spaces.

Rescue 1 used a winch to pull the vehicle out of the building. Truck 1 and Truck 7 went to the roof and overhauled the roofline above the fire looking for hot spots. One firefighter suffered from smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital for observation.
The remaining companies helped clear smoke from the other units.
