Alicia Castagnino Borges of 470 Silver St., Unit 113, will be arraigned via Webex on Friday at 10 a.m. in 9 th Circuit Court – District Division – Manchester. She is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, alternate charges alleging she recklessly or knowingly killed Brennan Pelio, 27, when she shot him in the head.

Wednesday afternoon, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office released Pelio’s name and announced the results of an autopsy performed by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. He determined Pelio’s cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the head, and his manner of death was homicide.

While the attorney general’s office said the alleged murderer is Alicia Castagnino, court
documents identify her as Alicia Castagnino Borges. The charges and allegations against Castagnino Borges are merely accusations, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The shooting took place about 10 p.m. Tuesday at a Silver Street address at the Twin Towers
    complex.

The investigation into Pelio’s death is continuing.
