MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Fire Truck 1 was called with the paramedics from AMR to 325 Amherst Street Sunday afternoon for a report of a 50-foot tree which uprooted and fell on a vehicle.
A man, approximately age 50, was working on the car at the time of the accident.
The tree crushed the car and struck the man, trapping him under the tree. Video below shows a Manchester Fire Department and AMR crews members preparing to transport the man for treatment.
Elliot Hospital was put on Trauma alert and the man was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
Manchester was experiencing high winds at the time of the accident.
