Manchester Parks & Rec launches TinyTykes Soccer: Where young athletes begin their journey

Manchester Parks and Rec is bringing an exciting new youth sports opportunity to the Queen City this January. In partnership with Challenger Sports, the department is launching TinyTykes Soccer, a developmentally appropriate introduction to soccer designed specifically for children ages 2 to 5.

More Than Just Soccer

TinyTykes isn’t your typical sports class. This innovative program combines soccer fundamentals with imaginative storytelling, transforming each session into an adventure. While learning the basics of the game, children will zoom through the field as race cars, roar like dinosaurs, sail as pirates, and cast spells as wizards. From superhero flights across Soccer City to magical farm adventures, every class is designed to spark imagination while building essential motor skills, confidence, and social connections.

Through the magic of soccer and storytelling, TinyTykes introduces kids to the beautiful game in a fun, imaginative, and nurturing environment. It’s not just their first soccer classโ€”it’s the start of a lifelong love for play, teamwork, and sport.
