MANCHESTER, NH โ€” Caroline G. Martel (Manchester’s first resident female Eagle Scout) has been named one of the 2025 Eagle Scouts of the Year, marking a historic milestone as the first female Eagle Scout from Manchester to receive this distinguished honor.

Caroline is a member of Troop 106G in Manchester, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication to service, and a deep commitment to the values of Scouting. She officially earned the rank of Eagle Scout on January 7, 2026, the highest achievement in the Scouting program, awarded to only a small percentage of Scouts nationwide.

The Eagle Scout of the Year award recognizes Scouts who exemplify outstanding character, leadership, service, and achievement both within Scouting and in their broader communities. Carolineโ€™s selection reflects her sustained commitment to service, her ability to lead with integrity, and her role as a trailblazer for young women in Scouting.

Throughout her Scouting journey, Caroline has held leadership positions, participated actively at the unit, council, and regional levels, and embodied the Scout Oath and Law in her daily life. Her accomplishments and example have helped pave the way for future generations of Scouts, particularly young women seeking leadership opportunities through Scouting.

Carolineโ€™s achievement is not only a personal milestone, but a meaningful moment for Scouting in Manchester and across New Hampshire. She represents the very best of what it means to be an Eagle Scout.

Carolineโ€™s recognition as Eagle Scout of the Year highlights the continued growth and impact of Scouting Americaโ€™s programs and the dedication of youth who strive to make a positive difference in their communities.
