Responding officers recognized Degreenia from surveillance photos widely circulated across social media. He later confessed to detectives that he was responsible for the burglary and theft.
Investigators determined Donald Nickerson was responsible for the first theft, of a jacket on March 2, 2018, and the credit cards, taken along with a wallet on March 6, some of which were used to charge over $300 at a local store that same day.
Investigators have yet to determine if it is the same individual is responsible for both thefts and are seeking public assistance to confirm the identity of the person(s) responsible for the thefts.
