The Manchester Monarchs, ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will play a home-and-home series of preseason games October 10 and 11. The Monarchs will travel to Adirondack for the game Saturday (7 p.m.) and then host Adirondack on Sunday (3:30 p.m.).

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats is launching its own travel baseball program to be based at its Manchester ballpark and to begin play in the fall of 2015. The new program will field teams for players ages 14-17, and will focus on developing skills to allow these players to compete at their next level.
