While the Queen City has already had a month of spring, the weather is finally (fingers crossed) getting a little better for baseball. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ bats are heating up too, here’s a recap of their April 15-20 series against the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals: the Harrisburg Senators.
April 15: Harrisburg homers power Senators over Fisher Cats

Harrisburg knocked three home runs in the final four innings as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats fell to the Harrisburg Senators at Delta Dental Stadium, 5-3.
April 16: Fisher Cats post first ever walk-off pinch hit home run

Thanks to a pinch-hit home run from infielder Peyton “Iowa Meat Truck” Williams, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (4-4) defeated the Harrisburg Senators (5-6) at Delta Dental Stadium on Wednesday night, 10-9. Williams’ Wednesday homer was the first pinch-hit walk off blast in Fisher Cats franchise history.
April 17: Crooked number in sixth inning favors Senators

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (4-5) fell to the Harrisburg Senators (6-6) at Delta Dental Stadium on Thursday night, 11-4. Harrisburg sent 11 batters to the plate and scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to pull away and take a game advantage in the six-game series.
April 18: Two Bohrofen Blasts Help New Hampshire Even Series

A pair of home runs from right fielder Jace Bohrofen kickstarted a come-from-behind victory, as Los Gatos Feroces de New Hampshire (5-5) downed the Harrisburg Senators (6-7) at Delta Dental Stadium on Friday night, 6-5. New Hampshire plated five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, with the second home run by Bohrofen and the first of the season for shortstop Josh Rivera, a three-run fly.
April 19: Piñango’s Four Hits Headline Space Potatoes Saturday Win

The New Hampshire Space Potatoes (6-5) defeated the Harrisburg Senators (6-8) at Delta Dental Stadium on Saturday, 4-2. Right fielder Yohendrick Piñango went 4-for-4 and reached base five times during the first-ever Space Potatoes game.
April 20: Fisher Cats suffer first shutout loss

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (6-6) fell to the Harrisburg Senators (7-8) at Delta Dental Stadium on Sunday, 3-0. New Hampshire threatened with two runners on and one out in the top of the ninth inning, but Harrisburg induced a game-ending double-play to secure the series split.

April 14, 2022 – The Fisher Cats swept a doubleheader at home against the Hartford Yard Goats, 5-2 and 8-0. Tanner Morris led off the opener with a home run and Zac Cook joined him on the long ball list in the fourth. In the nightcap, Nick Fraze and Hayden Juenger combined for a three-hitter with no walks and eight strikeouts.
April 16, 2005 – The New Britain Rock Cats earned 14-5 road win over the Fisher Cats in a contest that saw 26 combined hits. 2009 American League Silver Slugger and current Woo-Sox player Adam Lind went 4-for-4 with a pair of homers.
April 17, 2018 – Eventual New York Met Jeff McNeil hit his third homer of the year in the eighth that would clinch a 4-3 victory for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. McNeil also hit a homer in the third inning as well
April 18, 2014 – The ‘Cats put three on the board in the top of the ninth thaks to Ryan Schimpf’s fourth homer of the year, clinching a 6-3 victory against the then Binghamton Mets.
April 19, 2013 – While it might not have been as dramatic, Schimpf hit a homer against Binghamton almost exactly a year earlier, with Kevin Pillar also going deep in a 5-2 victory over the Mets.
April 20, 2015 – The Fisher Cats snapped a five-game losing streak with a 10-0 win in Trenton. Matt Boyd pitched five no-hit innings, but got a no-decision as he’d leave before New Hampshire put up their first seven runs in the eighth.
