Liv Crete-Sayer of Boscawen Elementary School has been elected by fifth graders across the state as NH’s 2026 Kid Governor. She ran on a platform to educate her peers about the dangers of smoking, vaping and drugs.
Great food and fun will be on the menu as the Queen City Rotary Club hosts its annual comedy bowl fundraiser later this month. The annual event, which includes a buffet dinner, comedy show and cash bar, will take place on Saturday, January 31 at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester.
The 44th Annual MLK Jr. Community Celebration will take place Jan. 19 at Memorial High School, 1 Crusader Way. The event, organized annually by the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition, is a day-long event, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You do not have to be a student at Ted Herbert Music School to audition for this ensemble; all are welcome. There is no cost to audition, if selected to participate in the Ted Herbert Community Big Band there will be a $100 participation fee. Scholarship assistance will be provided to students in need.

The Catholic Health Care Foundation of Greater Manchester (Foundation) has received its first corporate donation of $125,000. The funds, donated by Northeast Delta Dental, will directly support the Poisson Dental Facility, which is a grant recipient of the Foundation.
