Throughout April and May, participating grocery stores are selling “cans of nothing” for $5 each. Once filled with coins and cash, and returned to the NH Food Bank, they help feed those in need here.
E. & J. Gallo Winery donated 50 cents per bottle sold at all 79 NH Liquor & Wine Outlets during November and December 2016.
A majority of the donation will be used to help sustain the Food Bank’s 430 partner organizations.
Mel Gosselin brings 25 years of dynamic leadership in the for-profit and non-profit worlds, including 13 years as Executive Director of the New Hampshire Food Bank, which, under Gosselin’s tenure, grew to become the state’s largest non-profit food distribution center.

Now in its fourth year in New Hampshire, the Nothing campaign officially kicked off at the Market Basket in Londonderry on Thursday, with an assist from Gov. Maggie Hassan. The goal is to raise awareness and resources for the more than 1-in-9 New Hampshire residents who are food insecure, meaning they do not know where their next meal is coming from.
Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine helped the New Hampshire Food Bank with its first-ever Steel Chef Challenge earlier this month, raising more than $290,000 in cash and in-kind donations, making it the largest fundraiser in NH Food Bank history.
