Geared toward families with children of all ages, Waypoint’s 19th annual Touch-a-Truck in the Seacoast features construction equipment, fire trucks, a race car, a bus, oil delivery trucks, landscaping equipment, emergency vehicles, an 18-wheeler, a line truck, a slingshot, and more, to look at and sometimes climb on and explore. The event also features Kona Ice, kid-friendly activities, and roaming railroad rides.

On March 21, passionate advocates braved the cold and wind at a public gathering at Bronstein Park in Manchester to take a stand against youth homelessness. Together more than 1,000 donors helped raise $320,800—and counting—to support Waypoint’s critical services for young people experiencing homelessness across New Hampshire.

Through the course of 2025, 20 young adults utilized analog photographic methods and hybrid creative writing techniques to create works wholly expressing their “who-ness.” Each relic installed at the chamber will unveil to the viewer extraordinary perspectives from artists around the state of New Hampshire who have been impacted by the circumstances of being un-housed.

Held at Bronstein Park in Manchester on March 21 at 6:30 p.m., right across from the Waypoint Youth Shelter, the in-person gathering will include speeches from Waypoint staff, food, opportunity to dance, and vendor stands, including the Pop-up Gallery.

This funding comes through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care (CoC) Program and the Youth Homeless Demonstration Program (YHDP), which work with nonprofits, states and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals, families and youth, as well as individuals fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
