MANCHESTER, NH – With less than two weeks to go until Election Day it’s time for everyone to shift into gear as we hit the home stretch, including you – the voters.
Back in September we sent out our questionnaire to every candidate on the ballot (well, those who were in the primary got theirs earlier). Yesterday was the deadline, and today is the day – you can read through all the responses from those who would like to serve you as alderman or school board representative.
We acknowledge the hard work that goes into campaigning, and we understand that it’s difficult to make time to answer questions. Some of the candidates have yet to send in their responses. We will accept them at any time before the election.
Andy and I feel strongly that while it’s “one more thing” that a candidate has to do, answering our questions is like answering YOUR questions, and it should be a priority for any candidate to clearly communicate where they stand on the issues while being responsive to the local news media.
