A service will be held in her honor Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, in Bedford. The church doors open at 10 a.m. for those who wish to pay their respects to her family prior to the church service.

I love our city. Sure, it has problems such as addiction and homeless issues. And of course, there is the increasing housing costs, which is not just a Manchester thing, as well as issues that people have with the public schools. Should we be doing more to actually fix the issues instead of hearing elected officials or candidates for public office say that they’ll do something? Yes, we need actual solutions, not just empty promises.

More importantly, the way they interacted on the stage—even when they had differences of opinions on policies or proposals—was civil, respectful and refreshing to see in a political forum. Both men stuck to the issues and never once resorted to the types of rabbit punches and ad hominem attacks that are commonplace in political debates.

Art started becoming more important to me when I began to use it as a way to combat my mental illnesses and disabilities. I was deemed permanently disabled after a pretty bad accident at the end of July, and all it took was for one woman forgetting to look both ways as she blew through a stop sign over the speed limit to take away a lot of my freedom.

Finally, as she always does, my wife became the voice of reason, pointing out that based on some old pictures of me as a kid on Halloween, I wasn’t exactly putting on a trick-or-treating Masterclass. There are pictures of me as a magician. As Daniel Boone, of course. As Casper the Friendly Ghost. As Batman, of course.
