Week 1: Starting Off With a Dog and Pony Show

The Fisher Cats started the season with a three-game set at home against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, followed by a trip to Maine for contests against the Portland Sea Dogs.
There were two weather postponements against Binghamton and two weather postponements in Portland (see left), with the ‘Cats ending the opening stretch with a 3-3 record.
Week 2: The Iowa Meat Truck makes history

No snow in Week 2, as the Fisher Cats made history with their first ever “Space Potatoes” game and their first ever walk-off pinch-hit home run thanks to Peyton โIowa Meat Truckโ Williams.

Brenner Bids Farewell to Fisher Cats After 15 Years as President

Fisher Cats president Rick Brenner marked May 1st as his final day with the franchise. In 2009, he was named Ballpark Digest’s Executive of the Year while working for the ‘Cats, following earlier honors as an executive with the Trenton Thunder.
The Pennington, New Jersey native is the Assistant Professor of Practice, as well as the Director of the Sales Institute, in the School of Business at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. He began in his roles at Plymouth State in August 2024.
