A late-night fire at the mall food court caused about $5,000 in damage Tuesday.

Firefighters evacuated residents upon arrival, and no injuries were reported.

A fire caused by careless smoking caused about $1,500 in damages to a home on Notre Dame Ave. Tuesday night.

Damage was estimated to be about $30,000.

A school bus transporting Pelham student-athletes and two coaches was involved in an accident with a pick-up truck Monday night on the I-293 on-ramp in Manchester.

The owner of the vehicle said he parked his car and left it, and when he returned, it was floating away.

On May 1 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Manchester Fire Department was dispatched to Lafayette Park on Notre Dame Avenue for a report of a man stuck in a tree.

No injuries were reported in the early-morning fire.

A neighbor alerted the fire department after noticing smoke coming from a third-floor bedroom.

Quick work by the fire crews opening up and extinguished the fire.
