A fire at a Prospect Street apartment building early Friday morning was quickly managed by Manchester Fire Department.
No injuries were reported in a fire Thursday night on Hevey Street that originated in the first-floor kitchen.
Fire companies quickly controlled and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading beyond the kitchen. The home sustained smoke damage throughout, with heavy damage to the kitchen area.
One person suffered minor injuries in the midday crash.
Fire officials estimate the damage at abour $275,000.
