n this season of giving, Swim With A Mission handed out grant checks totaling nearly two million dollars in funds in a fresh injection of much-needed resources to Veteran Service Organizations throughout the region.  SWAM hosted its first ever grant award ceremony to deliver checks to 31 SVOs, helping to ensure the mission of serving our Veterans surges forward in our great state.

Inspired by the historic Christmas markets of Europe, and specifically the German Weihnachtsmärkte, the New Hampshire World Christmas Market will feature a 1,000-foot festive walkway lined with curated food and craft vendors selling wares with origins from Christmas Market countries you expect, such as Germany, Poland, Hungary, France, and Switzerland.

Queen City Bicycle Collective (QC Bike) is holding its 10th annual winter Open House and After Party on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. This is a chance to hang out, learn more about Queen City Bicycle Collective , and share ideas. Both the shop space at 35 Elm, and the auxiliary space at 37 Elm will be open to welcome visitors from 4 to 6:30 p.m.. We’ll then move it over to our “After Party” at To Share Brewing from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. for some light refreshments and drinks. We hope you will join us for either or both!

Plastic pollution begins with production. Our Manchester Coca-Cola Company is fueled by good intentions, its corporate purpose ‘to refresh the world’. It helps mitigate the impacts of climate change by ‘using 35% to 40% recycled material in our primary packaging, including increasing recycled plastic use to 30% or 35% globally, as well as collecting 70% to 75% of the number of bottles and cans introduced into the market annually’. Yet, harnessing 100,000 to 150,000 gallons of  water daily from the industry’s primary source, the Merrimack River, for the purpose of beverage production, would seemingly put the river at risk.

Recently, M&T Bank donated $20,000, along with 100 turkeys and fixings, to the New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, to support families in need this Thanksgiving. In addition to the monetary donation, volunteers from M&T Bank and the Food Bank prepared the packaged turkeys and fixings for distribution to local families.
