Late Oct. 2 the U.S. Marshal’s featured “Fugitive of the Week,” Jose Miranda was arrested in New York City by members of the NYPD. Miranda, 25, was last known to live in Manchester, N.H., and was wanted on both state and federal arrest warrants. A Federal arrest warrant was issued by the U.S. District Court in Concord, N.H for Supervised Release Violations, stemming from an original conviction and sentence for Distribution of Cocaine. The N.H. State Parole Board issued an arrest warrant for Parole Violations, as a result of a 2010 arrest for Reckless Conduct with a Firearm. During this incident, Miranda was involved in an exchange of gunfire while pushing a baby stroller.
Roger Hicks, 51, was arrested at about 11:05 a.m. at 68 Orange St., first floor and charged with the robbery.

The complainants stated they were sitting in front of a residence on Laurel Street as Moquin allegedly walked up to the fence and began making derogatory, racial statements toward them. One of the victim’s, Alex Rivera, told Moquin to leave the area. Instead, Moquin allegedly pulled down his pants and flashed his buttocks in their direction. According to the police affidavit, Moquin then pulled down the front of his pants, grabbed his genitals and made additional derogatory statements.

At about 11 a.m. Manchester Police responded to the 99 Cent and Cigarette Mart, 352 Kelley Street, for a report of an attempted armed robbery. The clerk, Qaisar Anwar, stated an unknown assailant entered the store and demanded money, armed with a small handgun. Anwar told police he picked up a hammer from beneath the counter and chased the suspect from the store.

The manager of the store called for an evacuation as a precautionary measure. Multiple officers assisted in the evacuation while continuing the investigation. A second suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery outside of the Holiday Inn Express has turned himself in.
The robber is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-10, between 30-35 years of age, light facial hair and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black bandana covering his face.
