MANCHESTER, NH – A woman was transported with serious injuries after a fire at a Morgan Street home Saturday.
Companies were dispatched for smoke coming from a two-story residential structure on Dec. 6 at around 4:01 p.m. Engine 6 arrived on scene, reported smoke showing from the rear porches, and announced a working fire.
Upon further investigation, the fire was located in the basement and attack lines were deployed. While fire suppression efforts were under way Truck 6 found one occupant located in the first floor living room and removed them from the home. The ALS unit on scene transported that patient to the Catholic Medical Center. The fire was extinguished and extensive overhaul was performed. The fire was contained to the basement area.
