The University of New Hampshire’s competitive research funding grew by 20% in fiscal year 2024 to $252 million. The funds support nearly 1,000 projects across a range of disciplines aimed at solving problems and improving lives in New Hampshire and beyond. Funding earned by UNH researchers from federal agencies, state collaborators, business and industry and private foundations has more than doubled since 2019.
This shortened time horizon will offer flexibility for students and accelerate the pipeline for high-demand roles in the market. The programs also offer students the ability to seamlessly extend to a four-year, 120-credit program if they elect to.

During West High’s lunch periods on Tuesday, a steady flow of students made their way toward voting booths set up by the City Clerk. New Hampshire Public Radio’s podcast Civics 101 is now embedded within the civic engagement curriculum at Southern New Hampshire University, a private, nonprofit higher education institution serving more 196,000 students online and 4,000 students on campus in Manchester, N.H.Â
On a 7-3 vote, the Manchester Board of Mayor and Aldermen allowed the Manchester School District to accept a supplemental appropriation of $6,517,315 toward their Fiscal Year 2025 budget on Wednesday night.
