Despite tying the game in the top of the eighth inning on Tuesday night, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (13-24, 43-62) dropped their series opener to the Reading Fightin Phils (16-24, 47-61) at FirstEnergy Stadium, 7-5. Reading plated the two decisive runs in the bottom of the eighth after the Fisher Cats erased a 5-1 deficit with four unanswered runs in the top of the seventh and eighth innings to tie Tuesday’s game.

 The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (9-20, 39-58) prevailed over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (17-13, 52-45) Friday at Mirabito Stadium, 7-3. On top of a rain delay of an hour and 20 minutes, Friday’s contest in Binghamton took three hours and 16 minutes, nine minutes shy of the longest game in New Hampshire’s franchise history.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (5-17, 35-55) won, 5-4, in thrilling fashion over the Reading Fightin Phils (10-13, 41-51) at Delta Dental Stadium Thursday. Tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth, center fielder Garrett Spain blooped a single into shallow center field which scored third baseman Cade Doughty and secured the win.
