As the Manchester School District’s leadership prepares its proposed budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year, Manchester School District Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Chmiel feels ready that plans are in place to help the district meet its financial needs whatever may arise.

The statistics overall were underwhelming, with Manchester students coming in roughly around half of the state average. However, that fact belies progress made across the board on the tests in Manchester, with ELA and math test scores climbing or remaining steady in all elementary and middle school grades compared to just after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

Manchester Proud (MP) is excited to announce the new leadership team of Debby Miller and Aimee Kereage as Co-Directors. Debby and Aimee will report to the Champion’s Council (Manchester Proud’s Board) continuing the momentum that Manchester Proud has built up over the past 6 years under Barry Brensinger’s leadership. Barry has made the decision to step down from his leadership role to enjoy retirement, he will remain a member of the Council and involved in MP’s work.
