“We were looking to reduce trash and taxes,” Cudworth said. “I knew it was a small step. but it was important to get buy-in from the select board.” Cudworth composed at her home and learned how little trash remained after the composting and recycling. She came to the meeting with a transparent, medium-sized bowl containing a week’s worth of food scraps from her house – lettuce, strawberry and radish tops, fruit scrapes, rice, egg shells, cucumber and potato peels. The show-and-tell worked.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will present the US Route 3/NH Route 28 roadway improvement project at the upcoming Hooksett Town Council meeting.  This 1.4-mile roadway project proposes safety and mobility improvements, as well as pedestrian and bicycle improvements between the Alice Avenue/West Alice Avenue and Whitehall Road/Martins Ferry Road intersections.

Richard (Rik) Cornell, MSW, ACSW, LICSW, and Vice President of Community Relations and Development, has announced his retirement from The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester.  After a lengthy and distinguished career with just one organization, Cornell will finalize his work in May but will stay on as a part-time Clinician and Trainer.

Over 80 meetings, hearings and other events have also been held with city employees to create an overarching analysis. While that analysis is largely complete, Drabik said that she would need until at least the end of the next fiscal year (June 30, 2025), if not longer, to create a set of recommendations on any possible improvements to the compensation and hierarchical structure for those over 400 different types of city employees. Drabik also noted that comparable studies of this type take approximately 18 months to complete and this one began in August 2023.

The day of the incident Prunier anonymously posted his account of what happened on the private Goffstown The Real Deal Facebook page.  He then posted   “No Trespassing” orders he sent to five women banning them from his shop.  They included Harbus, Select board member Kelly Boyer, her wife Pam Boyer, Jillian Bernat, admin of the Goffstown The Real Real Deal Facebook page, and Jillian Pelletier.    The women’s addresses were listed.
