Only the first game wasn’t the Fisher Cats. Instead, it was a rebranded team named the Manchester Buffalo Tenders, and their starting pitcher Rafael Sanchez just happened to throw a no-hitter, walking only two batters on 90 pitches through seven innings.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (26-30) swept the Altoona Curve (24-32) in dramatic fashion at Delta Dental Stadium on Saturday night, 4-0 and 5-2. Afternoon showers delayed the doubleheader nearly three hours before New Hampshire’s Rafael Sánchez toed the rubber and threw New Hampshire’s fourth no-hitter in franchise history and the first since 2012, becoming just the third Fisher Cats pitcher to do it in solo fashion.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (24-30) picked up its third straight shutout victory against the Altoona Curve (24-30) at Delta Dental Stadium on Thursday night, winning 2-0. New Hampshire held Altoona to three hits and set a new franchise record with 30.0 consecutive scoreless frames, dating back to Sunday, June 1, in Hartford. Fisher Cats starter Juaron Watts-Brown posted six, one-hit innings to build on New Hampshire’s season-best four game winning streak.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (17-28) fell to the Hartford Yard Goats (23-22) at Dunkin’ Park on Tuesday night, 4-1. New Hampshire starter Grant Rogers dealt six innings with one earned run on seven hits in his second career Double-A start. Rogers allowed an earned run in the bottom of the first inning before he went on to fire five scoreless innings in a quality start with four strikeouts.
