The BJ Cirnigliaro Memorial Fund, which was created in early 2021 by Absolute Title, has announced $35,000 in donations to 12 local organizations – the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Crispin’s House Coalition for Youth, the Currier Museum, Easter Seals New Hampshire, Inc., Friends of Forgotten Children, Fueled by Kids Inc., Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, My Breast Cancer Support, the Nashua Community Music School, PFLAG-NH, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, and Waypoint.

ApprenticeshipNH, a workforce training program of the Community College System of NH (CCSNH), hosted 250 apprentices, employers and community partners at the second annual ApprenticeshipNH Summit, an event dedicated to celebrating apprenticeship programs as a successful workforce expansion solution in New Hampshire. The November 22 event focused on strengthening the Granite State’s workforce and culminated National Apprenticeship Week. Held at NHTI – Concord’s Community College, the event included networking opportunities, Champion Award recognitions highlighting seven prominent businesses and individuals, interactive workshops and expert insights from industry leaders.

The University of New Hampshire’s competitive research funding grew by 20% in fiscal year 2024 to $252 million. The funds support nearly 1,000 projects across a range of disciplines aimed at solving problems and improving lives in New Hampshire and beyond. Funding earned by UNH researchers from federal agencies, state collaborators, business and industry and private foundations has more than doubled since 2019.
