At its Annual Meeting held October 19-21, 2025, the Foundation for Healthy Communities (FHC) bestowed its Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Award on Elliot Health System. The award honors a team of health care professionals who demonstrate a continued commitment to providing quality care to their patients, leading the charge for quality improvement, promoting transparency to improve health care and achieving better outcomes through the implementation of a strong culture of safety.

The State of New Hampshire has secured additional funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to sustain Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services amid the federal government shutdown. This funding will allow New Hampshire WIC families to continue redeeming food benefits until at least November 7.

Chef Paul Comes, a seasoned wild game chef, led the kitchen operations with the help of Comcast Team UP volunteers, who helped with meal prep and dinner service as well.  The meal featured venison tacos, demonstrating that wild game venison can be a nutritious, kid-friendly and nutritious option.
